My mom likes to watch reruns of Law & Order: SVU. The show’s theme song has this really spanky sounding guitar solo. And every time Otis hears that solo he starts howling at it like its the moon. His head just points upward and he lets out a long AWOOOOOOOOOOOO.
At 2am Otis was already tucked away in his bed and falling asleep when another episode started up. He was half in dreamland when the guitar solo began. But his sedated condition wasn’t going to stop him. I could just hear him making these tiny little howls.
